Spring Show Schedule 2025

The 2025 Spring Show will take place on Sunday 23rd March at 2:30pm.
​Prize giving and auction at 4:00pm.

If you want to enter the show, go to the end of the list below and list your entry details in the 'List your entries' section.  You will need to state your name and classes you wish to enter.
The schedule of classes you can enter are:

Spring Show - Section A - Flowers, etc.
Classes 1 to 11 – One bloom per stem excluding classes 6 and 11
Daffodil divisions are shown on pages 3 and 4

As nondegradable Oasis has been banned by the RHS, please use a more environmentaly alternative.
Novice Classes

Spring Show – Section C – Young Exhibitors’ Section

Photographs must be submitted digitally no later than the Friday
before the show.

 Spring Show – Section D – Domestic
Class       Title
41             5 Shortbread biscuits.  To your own recipe.
 
42              Lemon Swiss Roll to recipe
 
            Ingredients:
            100g. Caster Sugar.               Lemon Curd
            100g. Self raising flour          2tbsp Caster Sugar
            4eggs
            Zest of 1 lemon.
            Method:
​            Beat the eggs and sugar together until light and frothy.
            Fold in the sifted flour and lemon zest.
            Pour the mixture into a greased tin approx. 33 cms x 23cms lined with baking paper.
            Bake for 10minues at 200°C/fan180°C/ gas mark 6 until lightly browned.
            Place some baking paper sprinkled with 2tbsp. caster sugar on to the work surface and
            upend the sponge from the tin on to it.
            Peel off the baking paper and leave to cool.
            Score lightly 2.5 cms from one end. Spread with lemon curd and roll carefully.

52           'A Perfect Spring Day'
                        No more than 100 words.


Entries should be submitted by 12 noon on Saturday 22nd March.  Entry fee 25p per class.
All exhibits should be staged by 10:45am (judging starts promptly at 11:00am).
