You will need to state your name and classes you wish to enter. Spring Show – Section D – Domestic Class Title 43 5 Ginger biscuits. To your own recipe.
44 Apricot cake to recipe Ingredients: 6 ozs butter 6 ozs Caster Sugar 4 ozs Self Raising Flour 4 ozs Plain Flour 3 Eggs Grated rind of one lemon 4 ozs Dried Apricots (Chopped) A pinch of salt
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, fold in sieved flours, salt, lemon rind and dried apricots. Place mixture in a greased lined 7-inch cake tin and bake in a pre-heated oven at 160ºC for 1½ to 2 hours.
